AhRa Cho
In this exhibition, you can experienceAh Ra’s artistic journey, which takes you from her roots in traditional Korean art to her expressive worship paintings. Born in South Korea, Ah Ra Cho majored in Asian arts before studying Fine Arts at the University of Arts London. In 2012, she moved to the United States, bringing a rich blend of cultural influences that shape her unique voice as an artist.

Rogelio Calvo
Rogelio Calvo is a Panamanian American artist-Panamá -North Carolina. Currently the chair of fine arts department and instructor at Mitchell Community College. He held the directorship of the Iredell Arts Council and was curator for the Museum of Contemporary Art of
Panamá. His work is diverse and contemporary. This exhibition consists of works on paper, drawings in charcoal, pastels and graphite

High School & Middle School Art Show
The Fifth Annual Middle and High School art show sponsored
by Kewaunee Scientific Corporation. This show highlights the young talented and developing artists in Iredell County. The juried show awards scholarship funds to help these students continue their development artists.

The Mitchell College Art Department under the leadership of Department Chair Rogelio Calvo and instructor Paul Farmer will present a juried student art show for Mitchell College Students. The show will include visual art and 3D objects.

Josh dickens
Josh Dickens is a collage artist based in Statesville, North Carolina, who creates pieces that delve into the raw
experiences of grief and finding ways to heal. Using images from books dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, his work layers history with personal emotion, resulting in a
unique blend of past and present that invites viewers to reflect and connect.

chunbei (Daisy) schenone
Daisy was born in China. She came to the states in 1989 for her masters degree in international business. Her art has been exhibbited and sold in Charlotte Art League, Mooresville Arts, Hickory Museum of Art, Four Corners Art Gallery, Mecklenburg Court House, and the 78 years old prestigious Coffey and Thompson Art Gallery in Charlotte.

art in the park
Art in the Park is an annual collaborative festivalbetween Iredell Arts Council and Statesville Recreation and Parks Department at Martin Luther King Park. There will be artists booth, music, food and drinks. There will also bechildren art activities.

celebrating film in visual arts
We are pleased to announce the 1 st annual co-hosted exhibition and competition, “Celebrating Film in Visual Art”, in partnership with The Full Bloom Film Festival and Speedball Art. Film has the power to evoke emotions, tell stories, and create atmospheres; similarly, visual art can convey the intangible and provoke a sensory experience. This exhibit seeks to celebrate the fusion of these two mediums, inviting artists to translate the essence of film into visual art form.

Local artist Amy Sullivan shares her annual small works show. She works in wax and oil to create beautiful pieces. Amy’s work is shown and collected across the United States. We arevery fortunate to have Amy curate a selection of her small work studies and other works for this show.
